Maritrol Australia Pty Ltd was founded in Perth, Western Australia in 2009 with the original purpose of the design and manufacture of high grade marine electronics. This came about due to a number of requests for custom automation integration on large motor yachts and several other commercial applications.

Originating in remote condition monitoring and control systems, Maritrol went about designing IOT hardware and software that gathers and reports accurate data telemetry, originally from a marine engineering environment and now a diverse range of static and mobile plants across a number of industries.

Information is gathered from either third party OEM engine/operation systems and/or a vast array of diverse sensors by our ‘harsh environment’ control unit or chain of control units, which passes the data to a proprietary IOT platform or can be accessed through localised
touch screen displays.

Once data is passed to the online platform, it can be:
• Processed and presented to any specific client requirement.
• Passed to any third party IOT platform in any format required
• Managed to provide a complete and holistic viewpoint of any given plant, be it ships systems in the Gulf of Carpentaria, a dump truck in Africa or a processing plant in Dandenong.
